A short drive from Leyburn, near Bedale lies one of the finest collections of trees and shrubs in Britain. The beautiful woodland garden covers 85 acres of walks, glades, avenues and ornamental lakes. It’s an adventure for the whole family with nature walks and children’s trails to explore. One of the largest collections of birds of prey in the North of England, with 75 birds from all continents. There are regular displays and the chance to fly a hawk in the splendour of the arboretum.
Fine trees, woodland walks and garden trails make for a wonderland for garden lovers. In the springtime there are carpets of naturalised daffodils. There are large collections of tulips and tours of the gardens and Georgian house. Situated within a few miles of the Dales Haven.

Sixteen acres of formal and woodland gardens. The gardens were laid out by Sir William Milner from 1927 onwards. Situated in Wharfedale nine miles north east of Skipton. A lovely drive through the Yorkshire Dales from Leyburn.
