our rooms
We have four en suite rooms that provide us with great flexibility for single, twin, double or triple accommodation. We do not claim to be a luxury hotel but will do our best to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are inspected by Visit Britain and have been awarded four stars and a breakfast award.

We guarantee room types but cannot guarantee individual rooms because the pattern of bookings could mean us having to decline bookings. We do however do our best.

Churchill
A double room inspired by Sir Winston Churchill, with Churchill paintings, books, photographs and cartoons. This room has memory foam bed, en suite shower room with electric shower. This room has a country view. NB: This room can be converted into a twin with a comfortable fold-down bed.
Chocolate - sheer indulgence
If you have a sweet tooth, Chocolate might be for you. A twin or family room to sleep two plus one. It can also be used as a double. Comfortable memory foam beds. En suite shower room with electric shower. This room has a town view.
Manhattan - New York, New York
A double room with a splash of the Big Apple and a dash of Sinatra. En suite shower room with electric shower. This room has a country view.
Hepburn
A double room inspired by Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn. This room has a town view.
Dining room and lounge
Our dining room has stunning views over Wensleydale. Because of district council cuts in tourism spending, we now host a tourist information office for Leyburn staffed by volunteers. This is accommodated in what used to be the guest lounge. A seating area for guests is provided in our art gallery on request.
