Dales Haven Guest House Terms and Conditions

1. For the safety and comfort of all guests and on the advice of the fire authorities, smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the Dales Haven.
2. Take-away meals are not allowed in guest rooms because of the danger of spillage and lingering odours.
3. For B&B bookings, a non-refundable deposit of at least £10 per person per night will be required at the time of booking with a minimum deposit of £20. When booking within 14 days of commencement, a two-thirds deposit is payable.
4. If a B&B booking is cancelled within 14 days of commencement, we will try and re-let. If this is not possible, two thirds of the price is payable.
5. A minimum booking of two nights is a requirement for Bank Holiday weekends and during the months June to September.
6. For Murder Mystery and Family and Friends catered breaks, a non-refundable deposit of at least £20 per person per night will be required at the time of booking. The balance is due 28 days before the start of the break. If payment is not made, we reserve the right to re-allocate the accommodation. In the event of cancellation after full payment, if we rebook the accommodation, your remittance less the deposit will be refunded. If we cannot rebook, the hirer is responsible for two thirds of the cost of accommodation and the balance will be refunded.
7. Bookings start at 3pm on the date of arrival and terminate at 10am on the date of departure, unless agreed differently in advance.
8. When accommodation is reserved in advance by one person on behalf of another or for a group of people, the person making the reservation is responsible for adhering to the booking terms and conditions and accepts financial responsibility in the event of cancellation, unless the other parties make payment in advance.
9. We ask guests to consider the comfort of fellow guests. We may require persons creating a nuisance to leave. All monies owed to the Dales Haven must be paid in full, including payment for any damage, loss of income, extra cleaning or room closure caused by the nuisance.
10. If an Incident occurs that leads to the quarantine of a room because of contamination by smoking or other nuisance, the hirer must pay two thirds of the double room tariff for the period of closure.
11. Where payment is required for cancellation, damage, extra cleaning, loss of income or room closure, you agree to payment being debited from your debit or credit card.
12. No person under the age of 18 shall stay in the accommodation without parent or guardian.
13. No person who is suffering from any infectious disease shall stay in the accommodation.
14. The Dales Haven is absolved from all liability for the loss or damage to personal property, including cars and contents in the car park or any vehicles or other items left in the garage.
15. We are unable to accommodate dogs* or other pets.
